Artist’s Statement

My venture into art began approximately eight years ago when I decided to set aside most of my woodworking tools. Homer Watson Gallery gave me a good start and I gained most of the few skills I have from Marion Anderson at Alder Creek Studios. Watercolour is my favourite medium although I do paint a bit in acrylic. I try painting landscapes, architecture, flowers and anything that inspires me. If it can be combined or easily framed with wood, so much the better.
