Painting has been a passion for me since childhood. I am self-taught. I paint images that I photograph or sketch, usually outside in nature. Nothing inspires me quite like an open sky, a forest trail or a quiet lake and I strive to bring the mood alive on the canvas. I have been doing commission work only, for several years, and am happy to now have the time to just paint what I see and feel.
