Grace Falco Chambers

Born in Cornwall On, and raised in Hamilton, Grace had early art training with Hortense Gordon, Jean Wishart and John Sloan. Marriage brought a move to Los Angeles, where she studied Advertising Design, Illustration and Fine Arts at Art Centre College of Design. She designed marketing materials and products for companies such as Disneyland, Milton Bradley and Lakeside Industries, Toy Lab and Markham Co. Advertising.

* Designed preschool toys – MOTHER NATURE series (Lakeside Industries) Minn. 1963, acclaimed by Industrial Design and Popular Mechanics Magazines.
* Listed (Grace Surerus) in 1977 Edition of “Who’s Who in American Women”

She studied fine arts with various instructors including renowned Paul Sousa.

Returning home to Ontario, Grace’s advertising design company – Falco Design Inc. served a wide range of clients and received awards for magazine ads, packaging, billboards, transit posters and menus.

Classes in fine arts with Gordon Perrier at DVSA and workshops with renowned watercolorist, Charles Reid.
Grace’s paintings have won a number of awards at Juried Shows.
Her art is in private and corporate collections in Canada and in the U.S.
